The Challenge
Design and conceptualise a smart speaker which utilises modern technology to adhere to the needs of a specific user type.
The speaker must be able to aid other interactions apart from just simply amplifying sound.
The Solution
CoHEAR is designed for users with hearing impairments, through the clever use of sound-to-light technology. The light flashes reflect the rhythm of the output music. A conceptual aspect of the project was the potential ability of sound vibrations to travel through the negative body space of the speaker.

The design utilises the other senses of the user, allowing them to be included in the listening experience.
